Meet the Doctors

Dr. Kelly Gilligan received her veterinary degree from the University Of Wisconsin in 1988 and has been living and practicing small animal veterinary medicine in the Sauk Prairie community since 1989.  She established Four Paws Veterinary Clinic in 1999.  Dr. Gilligan believes getting to know our clients and their pets personally is essential to offering them the best possible service.  For Dr. Gilligan, the most important part of her job is listening to your concerns about your pet’s health and addressing these concerns in a timely, professional, and understanding manner.

Dr. Kate Short received her veterinary degree from Iowa State University in 1989.  She worked in large animal from 1989 until 1992, then worked in research until 1994.  She was a traveling relief veterinarian from 1994 until 2003 when she joined Four Paws Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Short’s strong interests are surgery, dermatology, and radiology.
