Our Fees:
It is our policy that payment for all professional services be made at the time of service.
We accept cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover.
LABORATORY
Our in-house laboratory gives us point-of-care diagnostic ability when we are treating sick or injured pets, and allows us to properly evaluate every surgical case prior to anesthesia. Outside laboratory services augment what our clinic offers and broaden the scope of diagnostic tests that we perform.
X-RAY EQUIPMENT
Our x-ray machine and automatic processor produce high quality radio-graphs, available for the doctor to review with clients.
THERAPY LASER
Using our cold laser, we can help heal old and new injuries, reduce inflammation and soreness from arthritis, and help to alleviate pain after surgery.
ULTRASOUND
Our ultrasound gives us point-of-care diagnostic ability when diagnosing and treating sick patients. We are now to rapidly find abnormalities such as bladder stones, abdominal masses, fluid accumulation and internal bleeding. We can assess your pet more accurately and thoroughly than ever before.
SPECIALIST CONSULTATION
We work with multiple veterinary specialists to provide additional services to our clients as needed. Board-certified veterinarians are available to perform cardiology consultations, orthopedic surgeries, and other advanced diagnostic procedures on-site at Four Paws Veterinary Clinic.
ADVANCED ANESTHESIA & ANESTHESIA MONITORING
Our monitoring allows us to closely watch heart rate, respiration rate, oxygen saturation, and blood pressure. We use the best anesthesia drugs available to provide the highest level of safety for pets during anesthetic procedures.

OUR CLINIC
Welcome to Four Paws Veterinary Clinic - Your other family doctor. We are located in Sauk City, Wisconsin, steps away from the beautiful Wisconsin River and on the Great Sauk State Trail. We are the only locally owned and operated small animal clinic in Sauk Prairie, and have proudly served the community since 1999. Our caring and skilled team is committed to providing the best possible care for your beloved pet.
Continuing education is an integral part of our success. At Four Paws Veterinary Clinic we are proud to offer in-house training for our staff on a regular basis. Our staff and doctors regularly attend local and national meetings and pursue other training so that we can remain up-to-date on the newest developments in veterinary medicine.
At our clinic we understand there may be times when our clients fall upon hard financial times. The Jake and Winston Fund is designated for those pet owners who are elderly, on a fixed income, and unable to afford medications for their pets. Those who meet the criteria can use this fund to purchase medications at a reduced price or receive them for free. Should you want to contribute to this fund, please contact our office.
Emergencies happen during operational hours. Emergencies during business hours will be given priority over routine procedures. Upon any emergency, call us at once at (608) 643-0234.
After hours, we refer emergencies to Madison Veterinary Specialists at (608)274-7772. They are located at 2704 Royal Avenue, Madison, Wisconsin 53713. Website: mvsvets.com
